Front squat

Bar rests on the front of the shoulders, elbows high, feet about shoulder-width, toes slightly out.

Front squat
  1. 1Sit down between the heels. The knees track over the toes.
  2. 2Keep the elbows up so the bar doesn't roll. The torso stays tall.
  3. 3Stand by driving the whole foot down. Heels stay planted.

Easy to miss: Elbows dropping so the bar falls, or the heels lifting at the bottom.

Muscles

Copper on the figure is a prime mover. The softer tone helps.
